Rohan, a 12-year-old boy from a small village in India, loved looking at the night sky. He dreamt of becoming a scientist, but his friends laughed at him. “How can a village boy like you reach for the stars?” they teased.

Rohan’s parents were farmers, and they couldn’t afford expensive books. But Rohan didn’t give up. He borrowed books from his school library and studied under a streetlight when there was no electricity at home. He was inspired by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who came from a humble background but became India’s “Missile Man” and later, the President.

One day, Rohan’s teacher noticed his dedication and helped him participate in a science competition. Rohan worked hard and built a rocket model using simple materials. His project won first prize, and he was invited to a science camp in the city!

Rohan realised that dreams don’t depend on where you come from, but how hard you work. Like Dr Kalam, he promised himself never to stop learning.
Moral: Hard work and determination can turn even the biggest dreams into reality!
