Saat Bhai Champa: A Bengali Folktale

In a peaceful village in Bengal, there lived a king and queen who were blessed with seven sons. Each son possessed exceptional qualities and had a distinct flower growing on their forehead. The flowers were believed to have magical properties, and the queen thought they held the key to finding a cure for the king’s illness.

Driven by her love for the king, the queen set out on a mission to locate the spiritual tree named Saat Bhai Champa, which was believed to have healing powers. The tree was concealed within a dense forest and was protected by mystical creatures.

Undeterred by the challenges that lay ahead, the queen set out on a journey into the forest with her brave sons by her side. They navigated their way through towering trees and encountered many magical beings along the way. Through their determination and kindness, they were able to gain the trust and assistance of the forest creatures.

After a long journey, they finally arrived at the center of the forest. There stood the magnificent Saat Bhai Champa tree, with its branches decorated with beautiful flowers, each petal radiating a different hue. The queen carefully plucked these magical flowers, knowing that they possessed the power to save the king’s life.

Upon returning to the palace, the queen used the flowers to create a potent remedy. As the king consumed the potion, his health began to improve miraculously, filling the kingdom with joy as he regained his strength and vitality.
