Once upon a time, there were four dragons lived in a beautiful Chinese village. They were brothers, and each had a unique colour – red, blue, yellow, and green. The dragons were kind-hearted and always wanted to help the people in their village. One day, they noticed that the village was going through a severe drought. The crops had withered, and the villagers were desperate for water.
The dragons decided to act. The red dragon flew high into the sky and summoned the clouds. The clouds obeyed and gathered around the dragon. With a powerful exhale, the red dragon released raindrops from the clouds, quenching the thirst of the dry land. The villagers celebrated as their fields and rivers were revived.
Next, the blue dragon took a dive into the river, creating a strong whirlpool. As he swam, the water level gradually increased, filling the empty wells of the village. The wells were overflowing with fresh and cool water, providing relief to the villagers who were struggling to find enough water to drink.
The yellow dragon flew to the mountains and found a hidden spring. With a touch of his golden scales, he caused the spring to gush forth, creating a magnificent waterfall. As the waterfall cascaded down the mountain, it filled the village’s reservoirs with abundant water. Thanks to the dragon’s intervention, the villagers no longer had to worry about water scarcity.
Finally, the green dragon searched the forests for plants and trees that could revive the village. When he found them, he spread their seeds with a gentle breath. As a result, lush greenery started to grow everywhere, bringing shade and beauty to the village.
The villagers were filled with gratitude towards the four dragons for their selfless acts. They celebrated by organising a grand feast, where they expressed their appreciation for the dragons’ compassion and generosity. Following that day, the dragons were greatly respected as the protectors of the village, working towards the well-being of both its people and nature.
